He took pride in his cottage on Lake Gogebic, MI and spent many hours there with his family, friends and grandkids, making some very cherished memories. During his early years of retirement, many winters were spent in Gulf Shores, AL with friends. Gayland had a great love of life and enjoyed every single day. He has left us all special mementos he made or fixed for us. Anything that broke, Gayland could fix "or" break fixing it!
We'd like to thank his many physicians through the years, St. Elizabeth Hospital staff and Lori and Sherry at Fresenius Dialysis Center.
