Gary Raymond Ulbrich, of Appleton,WI, passed away on August 26, 2020 at Misty Harbor Assisted Living. Gary was born in Dearborn, Michigan to Raymond G. and Margaret M. Ulbrich on April 4, 1953.
Gary was employed at the Soo Line Railroad in North Fond du Lac, WI for many years followed by working as a crane operator at Sadoff Iron and Metal Company in Fond du Lac. WI until he retired. Gary enjoyed riding his motorcycles and over the years had a variety of sports cars. He followed the Packers religiously. He was known to enjoy a beer with friends and liked getting together with family. He will be missed.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Margaret Ulbrich, brother Gregory S Ulbrich and sister-in-law Kate Christianson Ulbrich.
Gary is survived by sister Nancy (Howard) Wood of Appleton,WI and their children Scott (Michelle)Wood, Susan (James) Whitney and Stephanie (Tony) Bishell. Gary is also survived by two brothers Dr. George Ulbrich of Portland, OR and Patrick (JoAnn) Ulbrich of Winneconne, WI and their children Tyler Ulbrich, Joseph Ulbrich and Christopher (Erica) Ulbrich. Gary's also has three nieces, Cory (Terri) Ulbrich, Chandra Huettner and Calla (Randy) Falk, and four nephews, Keven (Meghann) Ulbrich, Kyle (Stephanie)Ulbrich, Josh Ulbrich and Jake (Paige) Ulbrich. He is also survived by many great-nephews and nieces and friends.
An immediate family cemetery service will be held September 19, 2020 At St. Margaret Mary Cemetery in Neenah, Wisconsin followed by a family luncheon.
We would like to thank Generations Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Gary and to Patti and Al Manley of Misty Arbor Assisted Living for all their kindness, care and help throughout the time Gary was with them. We can't say enough about these kind people.
