Gail M. Balthazor, Little Chute, age 60, died unexpectedly Wednesday February 27, 2013 at her home. She was born in Kaukauna on June 6, 1952 to the late Jacob and LaVerne (Bevers) Mathis. Gail enjoyed reading, walking, going to parades and riding her bicycle. She treasured time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Gail loved holidays, her favorites were Halloween and Christmas.

Gail is survived by her children: David (Melanie), Kaukauna; Josie (Mark) Ahrens, Kimberly; and Michael (fiancee Bridget Siebers), Menasha; grandchildren: Kalia, Liliana and Boden Balthazor, Evin and Vinn Ahrens, Isaiah Balthazor, Angela, Patrick and Alissa Hauptli; siblings: Jacqueline (Raymond) Reiter, Bruce (Teresa) and Gary (Jane) Mathis; sister-in-law: Barb Mathis; and special friend Gerry Voigt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her grandparents: Peter and Josephine Bevers and Joseph and Suzanne Mathis.

Visitation will be held Tuesday March 5, 2013 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of funeral at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
