Frederick V. "Fritz" Voecks, Kaukauna, age 71, died Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Appleton on November 16, 1944 to the late Fredrick and Mary Helen (Landgraf) Voecks. Fritz married Judith Brooks at Holy Cross Parish in Kaukauna on May 26, 1978.

He started Voecks Fox Valley Coin with his father and brother in 1964 in Appleton. They later moved to Kimberly and added jewelry. Over the years he and his family had many businesses, but his true love was always coins.

In his free time, he enjoyed reading and computers. Fritz loved making people smile and telling stories. He always said "My job is to make people smile."

Fritz is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Michelle (Lee) Griesbach of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Matt, Anna and Eric; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald (Mary Ann) Brooks and Jeanne (Tom) Selig. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Fritz was preceded in death by his brother, Randall.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at ST. JOSEPH PARISH (404 W. Lawrence St. Appleton) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. James Leary, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery.
