Obituary

Frank D. Reimer, Kaukauna, age 38, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton surrounded by his family. His untimely death was due to health complications caused by a bee sting.  He was born in Freedom on April 9, 1981, son of Frank Reimer and Laurie (Van Boxtel) Wyngaard.  Frank was employed as a millwright at Ahlstrom Munksjo (Thilmany) in Kaukauna where he was a staunch backer of the United Steel Workers Union and served as a past treasurer. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling and beekeeping. Frank took his dream trip to Alaska this summer. His enthusiasm as a Packer and Brewer fan was second to none. Family and friends knew Frank for his big heart and willingness to help anyone who needed it. He was loyal and dedicated; always true to his convictions.

Frank is survived by his parents:  Laurie (Keith) Wyngaard of Little Chute and Frank (Debbie) Reimer of Freedom; siblings:  Amy (Kyle) McMahon, De Pere; Jared (fiancée Madison Malcore) Reimer, Fox Crossing; Jordan (Ashleigh) Reimer, Arlington; Ashley (Francisco) Sauceda, Oshkosh; Stephanie (Ross) Weyers, Harrison; and Richard (fiancée Tracy Schmoeker) Wyngaard, Little Chute; grandparents:  Dan Van Boxtel, and Richard C. and Marilyn Wyngaard;  special friend Krystal Tuyls and her son, Jackson; beloved nieces and nephews:  Landon, Carter, and Alexia McMahon; Adriana and Marisol Sauceda; and Layla, Myles and Evelyn Weyers.  He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Germaine Van Boxtel, Ellen and Frank Reimer, and Darla and Jim Lund.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.  His Funeral Mass will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Belitz officiating.  Committal at St. John Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established to benefit UW Organ and Tissue Donation.
