Evelyn I. School, ("Mumsie"), Kimberly, formerly of Mountain, died at her home on Friday, April 23, 2021.  She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on January 22, 1935 to the late Lyle and Laura (Wiesenhofer) Fisher.  Evelyn married William School at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring on September 12, 1953.  He preceded her in death on March 20, 2011.

Evelyn never met a card game she didn't like (or couldn't win!).  She particularly enjoyed cribbage and was a true sheepshead master.  But her greatest love was simply spending time with her large and loving family – and if it could be around a table playing cards, well – all the better!

Evelyn is survived by her children:  Dave School, Helena, MT; Kathy (Mike) Fritz, Mountain; Diane (Bruce Wilz) Coenen Wilz, Darboy; Dan (Barb) School, Darboy; Tom (Sandy) School, Green Bay; Keith (Connie) School, Shawano; and Don (Dana) School, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Christy School, Cecil; grandchildren:  Nikki (Dave) Schram, Ryan School, Rachel (Jason Frost) School, Sam (Kayla Kroening) Coenen, Emily (Adam) Golding, Lance (fiancée Christina Hackbarth) School, Lindsey (Craig) Romenesko, Jacob School, Hilary (Andy) Klosterman, Renee (Sean) Vanden Langenberg, Melissa (Josh) Richards, Adam School, Courtney School, Amanda (Pete Buyeske) School, Taylor School, and William School; great grandchildren:  Maddie, Lyla, Hudson, Valentina, Charlie, Faith, Jaxon, Austin, Brysen, Myla, Mason, Maddox, Amelia, Bennett, Arianna, Aiken, Nola, and three more on the way; brother, Ken (Jane) Fisher, Oregon; sister-in-law and best friend since childhood, Evelyn Quandt; and sisters-in-law:  Barb Fisher and Sally Fisher.  She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends, especially Diane Fischer.

In addition to her parents, and husband William, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Brian School; son-in-law, Timothy Coenen; brothers:  Bud (Cindy), Loren and Larry Fisher; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Laverne (Norman) Kufner, Hazel (Valentine) Gericke, Earl (Eunice) School, James Quandt, and Marv (Laverne) School.

Evelyn's family would like to express their deep appreciation to all of her beautiful, caring friends at Hallmark Place.  Her years there were very happy ones.  We also extend a very special thank you to her Theda Care Hospice staff, especially Lorraine, Dawn, and Ida.  The tender, loving care you provided our precious "Mumsie" will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Michael's Chapel (12494 Hwy 32/64 Suring, WI) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Breed.
