October 5, 1928 – January 8, 2025
Elvera Pagel, age 96, passed away January 8, 2025 at Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha, WI. Elvera was born October 5th, 1928 in rural Wittenberg, WI to Edward and Katherine (Aggen) Wendler. She was united in marriage to John Bohlman in 1947 and later to Gary Pagel in 1978, who preceded her in death in 2014.
In Elvera's early years, she was a homemaker before going to work at A&W and various places in town. She then worked as a receptionist/office manager at Wittenberg Dental for several years. Elvera's favorite pastime was fishing with Gary. In retirement, they spent most of their time fishing and camping in Boulder Junction during the summers and then enjoying the winters in Florida. After a few years, they made the decision to become permanent residents of Florida. When Gary passed, Elvera moved back up to Wisconsin to be with family.
