Our wonderful husband and father, Elroy Harold Thoma, received his angel wings on December 5, 2014 at 3:50 pm at Appleton Medical Center with his wife, family and friends by his side. He was born on April 8, 1936 to the late Eldo and Lula Thoma. He served two years in the Army. On October 24, 1959, he married Beverly Guyette and they had six children.

Elroy enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, son in-law and friends. His happiest time was when he went fishing and camping at Baraga, MI. Deer hunting was his passion. He worked at the Neenah Foundry for 38 years as a tow motor driver.

Elroy is survived by his wife, Beverly; five children, Elroy (Kim) Thoma, Jeff (Krystle) Thoma, Todd (Chris) Thoma, Joe (Kim) Thoma and Wendy (Matt) Leeman; son in-law, Roy Heidger; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren; two sisters, Lila Mae Young and Barb (Rolland) Young; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Elroy is preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Wilber Heidger; sister, LaVonne Pieper; God child, Terry Young; as well as many other Aunts, Uncles and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date per Elroy's wishes.
