Edward (Ed) E. Thorne, Menasha, age 61, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 28, 1961 to the late Carroll "Sandy" and Flora (Lovette) Sandefur.  Ed was a huge Brewers fan and NASCAR fan and loved listening to rock and roll and country music.

Edward is survived by his two sons: Justin (Macalla Farr) Thorne of Appleton and Dillon (Kayleigh Klister) Thorne of Wrightstown; his daughter, Tyler Thorne (Tyler Johnson) of Appleton; and granddaughters:  Addison, Lily, and Willow Thorne.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his siblings:  Jeff Dockery, Lawanna Sawyer, and Deborah Bain.

In accordance with his wishes, a private memorial was held.
