Earl entered the heavenly gates on Saturday April 2, 2011 at Parkside Care Center. He was born July 20, 1914 in Appleton, son of the late Fred and Christine (Peters) Driessen. Earl married Marie DeCoster on August 4, 1936. She preceded him in death on August 11, 2008 after 72 years of marriage. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.

Earl is survived by his son: David (Rose) Driessen, Kimberly; and two daughters: Susan (Gene) Wildenberg, Kaukauna; and Jennifer (Steven) Rochon, Kimberly. There are ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is further survived by members of Marie's family and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his daughter Lynn Beattie; and all brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 7, 2011 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. James Hablewitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
