Obituary

Dorothy C. Roskom, formerly of Little Chute, currently of Wisconsin Veteran Home, King; age 86, died Saturday July 27, 2013. She was born in Isaar on April 13, 1927, to the late John and Adrianna (Vanden Klundert) Vande Corput. Dorothy married Marcus on June 12, 1948, in Isaar. She was a gifted seamstress who also enjoyed to knit and crochet. Dorothy sewed all of her children's clothes and cut their hair. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where, as a member of the Mission Club, she knitted many slippers. Dorothy was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed time with family and friends, often playing Sheepshead and Poker.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Marcus; children: Michael (Suncha); Kathryn (Marlowe) Greening, Fremont; Aloyous (Carrie), Neenah; Terrance, Little Chute; Kristine, Kaukauna; and Victoria Roskom and her friend Russ, Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren: Monica (Jamey) Gosz, Jeff, Doug, Tara and Charles Roskom, Nicole (Alan) Ziepke, TJ LaFave, Ritchie and Calvinn (Melissa) Greening, Pamella (James) Burk; 13 great grandchildren; brothers: Joe (Laverne) and John (Peggy) Vande Corput; brothers and sisters-in-law: Rita, Arvilla (Ted), Claude (Gladys), Donald (Shirley) and Levi (Alice); Goddaughter: Sr. Norma Jean Janssen; and good friend Donna.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her great grandson, Noah; brother-in-law Floyd; and many other brothers, sisters and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 31, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Msgr.
