Dorothy Lemke, of Little Chute, age 79, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at Grand Horizons Assisted Living. She was born in Kaukauna on April 1, 1937 to the late Martin and Wilhelmina (Bergman) Vanden Heuvel. Dort loved to dance and laugh. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Jack (Carleen) Burns of Appleton and Debbie (John) Reed of Hilbert; grandchildren: John (Angie) Burns, Jenna Klein, Corey (Eric) Anderson and Justin (Rachel) Reed; great grandchildren: Pennelope Klein, John Burns VII,, Aubrey and Haddie Anderson; brother: George (Jan) Vanden Heuvel; and brother-in-law: Howard Baumgart.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Burns; second husband, Ron Lemke; sisters: Grace (Bill) Daul, Vi (Tom) Toonen and Bernice Baumgart; and brothers: Rich (Lois), Gerald (Sharon) and Jim (Dorothy) Vanden Heuvel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 3:00 p.m. Chaplain Brad Mc Intyre will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

The family would like to thank the staff at Grand Horizons for the great care you've given Dort through the years. Also, thank you to the Community Care Team for making sure her needs were met and the Southern Care Hospice for the support and kindness you've given us and our mom.
