Dorothy Ann
Evers
April 21, 1925 – November 22, 2024
Dorothy A. Evers was called to her eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2024, a mere five months shy of her 100th birthday which she had been looking forward to. Dorothy was born in Kimberly on April 21, 1925, to the late George and Anna (Van Munn) De Wildt. Dorothy married the love of her life, Richard Evers, on November 9, 1946, at Holy Name Church in Kimberly. The next year, they purchased the family farm and ran it together for the many years while raising their 11 children. When she wasn't kept busy with the kids and the farm, Dorothy loved to bowl, both with her family and in couple's leagues. Enjoyed playing cards, always asking when the next game was. She enjoyed square dancing at Romy's Nightingale, even making their outfits by hand. She loved fishing and hunting at their cottage on Pickerel Lake which they built 60 years ago. She was fortunate enough to have spent this past Labor Day there with her family. Her last 2 years of life were spent at Eagle Point Assisted Living where she enjoyed the residents and staff. Dorothy cherished every minute spent with her family. She was so proud of them, and will be remembered as a woman who was always there if her family needed her.
Dorothy is survived by her children: David (Alice) Evers, Combined Locks; Gary (Debbie) Evers, Combined Locks; Carol (Gerry) Vande Hey, Pickerel; Darlene (Les) Seggelink, Kaukauna; Linda (Roy) Baumruk, Grand Chute; Marty (Sue) Evers, Grand Chute; and Crystal DeWildt, Kimberly; grandchildren: Kevin (Rheann) Evers, Tim (Amy) Evers, Julie (Tim) Vanderlois, Chad (Liz) Evers, Melissa Evers, Amy Evers, Ric (Tracy) Evers, Jeff (Lonnie) Warner, Keith (Tammi) Warner, Brian (Angie) Warner, Matt (Heidi) Warner, Dan Warner, Eric (Kelly) Seggelink, Jessica Seggelink, Alicia (Mike) Pereslucha, Ashley (Andrew) Allard, Nicole (Will) Fabich, Rebecca (Gerid) Garvens, Deshonda Kelly, Michael (Alicia) Evers, James Kelly, Rachael Evers, Martin Evers (fiancé Josie Troullier), Jayson (Amanda) Mitchell, Kallista Mitchell; and her 58 great grandchildren.
