Doris Lorraine Condon Baird, Appleton, age 77 died Tuesday April 17, 2012 at home. She was born in Minot, North Dakota to the late David and Martha (Fandrick) Condon and grew up in Lewiston, Idaho. While attending the University of Idaho, Doris met Robert Baird and they were married in November 1955 in Bellingham, WA. Doris will be remembered as a wonderful cook who always knew how to make a holiday special; a terrific gardener who loved flowers, birds, and trees; a progressive computer and video game enthusiast who learned how to create websites, build virtual towns, and wage battles, and a passionate citizen who loved and honored her country.

Doris is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert; children: James (Victoria) Baird of Sequim, WA and Nancy (James) Faust of Neenah; grandchildren: Nic, Zach and Jessa Baird, Tim, Katy and Kristen Faust; and brother David (Marilyn) Condon.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, John and Audrey Baird.
