Van Stippen
January 18, 1940 – February 21, 2021
Momma Bear (Donna Van Stippen) passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, February 21, 2021, when she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 81. Donna was born January 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (King) Neift.
Donna was preceded in death by her only daughter, Cathy Van Stippen; her parents, Henry and Helen; her in-laws, Henry and Louis Van Stippen; her brother, Dennis Neift; and her brothers-in- law: Wayne Van Stippen, Gerald Van Stippen, and Frank Schiltz.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Donald Van Stippen.
Donna is remembered by her sister, Susan Kreuger; her two sons: David (Mari) Van Stippen and Randy Van Stippen (Tracy McKendry); two grandchildren: Katrina (Lawrence) Bangart and Leah (Chris) Beeman; three great grandchildren who were her world: Traice (9), Alliyah (6), and Addison (3) Beeman; many brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley (Richard) Procknow, Robert (Margaret) Van Stippen, Ruth Schiltz, Paula Van Stippen, Linda Van Stippen, Henry (Wendy) Van Stippen, and MaryLou (George) VanderLinden; and very close brother in Christ, Franklin Diestler. She will also be missed by many other nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by very dear friends Lisa and Leroy Heindl.
Donna graduated from Appleton High School in 1958 and went on to marry the love of her life Donald Van Stippen on June 27, 1959 at St. Therese Parish in Appleton. Donna worked for many years as the President at the Outagamie A.R.C. and as a house parent at Agape of Appleton from 1976-1982. She also worked as a waitress for many years in many different establishments. Donna found great joy in crotchet. She would make hundreds of blankets, scarves, baby booties, for family friends and friends of friends in need. Donna has helped so many people feel loved through her hobby of making blankets or clothes. In the 81 years of her life the most important decision she made was to follow Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Mama Bear you will be missed here on this planet, but I will see you again in heaven, because Jesus said for you to get there, you must be born again. I know you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, so on judgement day when the Book of Life opens, your name will be there.
Well Mama Bear you get to see the Glory of Heaven before I do, but I will be there soon. I love you Papa Bear.
The Van Stippen family would like to send a very special thank you to the providers for Donna, they are a blessing from heaven, the Hospice angels for all the services and help, Dana, Jenny, Sally, Karen, Molly and Ann, and family members David, Mari, Katrina, and Leah.
Visitations will be held at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
