Obituary

Donna Louise (Londo) Lambie, 65, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Friday, November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving; her favorite holiday, which she joyfully celebrated with her beloved family. It was a truly wonderful day for all!

Donna was born to the late Henry and Joan (Connor) Londo, August 1st 1953. In her youth, she loved summers spent in Sturgeon Bay on the farm of her loving Godmother and uncle Louise and Leo Niemeyer. She graduated from Little Chute High School in 1971, and began her 30+ year career with Presto Products. She married Tom Lambie October 20, 1972 at St. Paul's in Combined Locks. Tom preceded her in death May 18, 2013, and Donna missed him terribly.

Donna loved spending time with family and friends, but nothing gave her more pride and joy than time spent with her cherished son Jason, her daughter in law, Ashley and her "grand puppies" Lambeau and Nika. She and Tom loved to watch Jason play in his band for many years. She was beyond excited at the recent news that she would become a Grandma in May, something she longed for more than just about anything. She was an avid sports fan. She loved her Packers, specifically Brett Favre! Her love and passion for #4, fueled many "discussions" over the years! She loved watching almost any sporting event. She also loved supporting local sports. She drove many miles over the years to watch those she loved play various sporting events. She made many treasured friends and memories on those journeys. She was involved with the Little Chute High School Music Parents for many years. She loved being from Little Chute and was blessed with many lifelong friends, who she cherished very much. Donna also loved playing bingo and cards. She looked forward to her weekly Wednesday game nights with the girls. It gave her so much joy, especially the past few years.

Donna is lovingly survived by her son Jason (Ashley Schider-Lambie); her grandpuppies, Lambeau and Nika; and baby Lambie, due to arrive in May. She is further survived by her loving siblings, Pat Bartels, Mark Londo, Mike (Colleen) Londo, Mary (Clark) McCormick, Debi (Don) Van Handel; and Tom's siblings, Barb Glasheen, Terri (John Delie) Lambie, Deb (Mike) Zornow, Bob (Kim), David (Roswitha), and Todd (Sherry) Lambie. Godchildren, Jennifer Bartels, Bill Glasheen, Tara Nerison, Amber Lambie and Melissa Wagner. Nieces & nephews Allison, Brandon, Tanner, Chris, Brian, Sarah, Jake, Kayla, Tyler, Chas, Ryan, Matt, Erica, Tania, Angie, Emily, Natasha, Nick, Nathan, Michael and Sara. Donna also leaves behind many treasured friends, too many to mention all by name but specifically her longest and dearest friend, Linda Devalk, who she loved like a sister.

In addition to her husband Tom, and her parents Hank and Joan Londo, Donna was preceded in death by Tom's parents Andrew and Elaine Lambie, her sister Cathy (David) Crawley, nephew Keith Dickerson, Brothers in law Dan Glasheen and Andrew Lambie, niece Erin Glasheen. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved godparents, Louise Niemeyer and the late Doug Wagner, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29th at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute). Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm until the time of mass at 5:00 pm.  In support of Donna's love for Brett Favre, and being casual, we invite everyone to wear your Favre/Packer attire.
