Donald P. Hartzheim, Darboy, age 85, died at Kindred Hearts Assisted Living on Monday, October 4, 2021.  Don was born in Appleton on April 13, 1936 to the late Joseph and Anna (Jochmann) Hartzheim.  He worked as a landscaper at Gillespie Gardens for many years, retiring in 2007.  Donald enjoyed boating, motorcycling, and cars.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather:  Anna and Raymond Hoffman; father, Joseph Hartzheim; brothers:  Robert (Marge), Norbert (Virginia), and Joseph Hartzheim; and sister:  Ann Gill.  He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon David Van Eperen officiating.

While Don outlived his immediate family, he was fortunate to have had wonderful caregivers through the years and he was grateful to you all.  These people include special friend Margaret "Pete" Hankwitz, and Bill and Pam Hankwitz for their special attention and care the last few years, as well as the staffs at Ascension Cancer Unit, Heartland Hospice, and Kindred Hearts Assisted Living.
