Dennis Arlon Mader, Menasha, age 79, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Appleton on July 26, 1946, to the late Cyril and Eleanor (Weyenberg) Mader. Dennis graduated from Kimberly High School in 1964 and went on to Milwaukee Area Technical College for cooking and Lansing Community College for hotel restaurant management. While there, he met his future wife Kathy in the hotel kitchen at Michigan State University. Together, they founded Mader’s Catering in 1994.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathy; children: Dan (Lisa) Mader, Deane (Kim) Mader, Bryan (Helen) Mader, Rebecca (Stu) Felzer, and Jonathan Mader. He was also blessed with 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dennis is further survived by 5 brothers, 4 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Deane; mother-in-law, Charlene; sister-in-law, Ann; niece, Missy; and nephew, Steve.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at ST. PAUL PARISH (410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks) from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Robert Stegmann. Committal St. Paul Cemetery.
