Obituary

Dennis Ermin Fleisner of Little Chute passed away in his sleep at home and was reunited with his Lord after a brief illness on July 24.

He was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on April 5, 1948, and graduated High School from Marshfield Columbus High School in 1967. He was known for his participation in Football and Basketball while attending. After graduation he attended Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids. He was employed at Thilmany Papers/International Papers in Kaukauna for 42 years in the Poly department where he acquired his nickname, "Fly" and retired in 2011.

He was married to Jacqueline (Nee Bashynski) on September 9, 1978, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam, WI. They were married until his passing. He and his wife were devout Catholics and members of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks.

He was an avid and lifelong sports fan of the Bucks, Brewers, Packers, and Badgers and always rooted for his team no matter how well their season was going. He was also a member of the Kaukauna Moose Lodge and acquired the apt nickname "Fly".

He was a caring, outgoing, kind, genuine, and sincere guy that put a smile on the faces of those who knew him. He got along well with just about everybody and was known for his wisecracks such as 'I can't complain because no one listens to me anyway' and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Nee Bashynski); his four children: Erika (Jason Lloyd), Adrianna, Gabriel, and Emily (Kevin Stelter); and his grandchildren: Talon Lloyd, Elara Lloyd, Brennan Leaverton, and Isla Stelter. He is further survived by his siblings: Ken Fleisner (Ann), Cathy (John Thomas), Ann (Ken Johnson), Mary Sherwood, Judy Fleisner, and Tom (Marie) Fleisner; and sister-in-law, Melody (Kim) Williamson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Clement Fleisner; his wife's parents, Arnold and Shirley Bashynski; brother, Glen Fleisner; and niece, Julia Fleisner.
