Obituary

Debra Jean (Roberts) Ketter, age 69, of Black Creek, passed away June 4, 2025 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Debbie was born October 20, 1955 in Appleton, WI to the late Roland Westley Roberts and the late Jeannette L. (Dreyer) Roberts.  She spent her childhood living in Appleton, Eagle River, and Ladysmith, WI.  Debbie spent her adult life working as a CNA, being a Super Mom, raising her three sons and an adopted son, and being a foster mom to 27 kids at various times over the years.  She also occasionally drove semi-truck and did volunteer work to help the disadvantaged.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Herb Ketter; three sons:  Joshua Raymaker (Brenda) of Neenah; Andrew Flenz (Chris) of Ladysmith; and Donald Flenz of Neenah; and 3 daughters:  Ashley Baldwin (Andy) of Sherwood; Katie Ketter of Neenah; and Brandi Sprang of Neenah.

In addition to spending time with her family, Debbie had a huge fondness for horses and riding them.  She enjoyed crafting, painting, and coloring.  Debbie loved rummage sales and thrift stores.  She had a unique way of bringing out the goodness in you.  When she said, "I love you" you felt it.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Lake Park (303 E. Mary Street, Black Creek).
