Daniel P. Van Veghel, Town of Vandenbroek, age 62, died unexpectedly Monday, November 22, 2021.  He was born in Appleton on July 10, 1959 to the late Imelda (Mollen) Van Veghel, Adrian Van Veghel. Dan owned and operated J. Mollen Machine & Tool. If you ever needed to find Dan he was in the shop. His hobbies included working on small engines and watching NASCAR.  In Dan's younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Daniel is survived by his longtime companion, Kelli Shepard; step daughter, Erica; siblings:  Mark, Town of Buchanan; Pam (Paul) Mischler, Kyle and Alex (Alycia), Town of Vandenbroek; Joe (Tracey), Cory and Tim (Hailey), Freedom; Rich (Darci), Luke (Bailey), Paige and Faith, Freedom; Chris (Laura), Charley and Dominic, Little Chute; and special family friends, Paul and Renee Coenen (Rachel and Kayla).  He is further survived by many family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Knitt officiating.
