Daniel J. "Red" Van Toll, Freedom, age 45, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna on December 26, 1970 to James and Faith (Cook) Van Toll. Dan married Heidi Andersen on December 18, 1999 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. Red worked at Van Toll Landscaping. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sturgeon spearing.
Dan had a generous spirit and loved to use his talents to help others. His world revolved around his children and he treasured the time he spent with them.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 16 years, Heidi; his children: Daniel James and Cassidy Jo; parents, James and Faith; grandmother, May Cook; siblings: Patricia (Gary) Wolfgram, Wendy (Kendal) Shreve, Michael, Andrew (Joy) and Jess Van Toll; father and mother-in-law, Duane and Barbara Andersen; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Heather (Mike) Schulze, Penny (Brad) Dittmann and Daniel (Miranda) Andersen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by his infant twin daughter, Larissa Jo; and brothers: Timothy and Carl Van Toll.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Timothy Glende will officiate. Committal Community Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial is being established.
