Daniel P. "Turk" McCabe, Kaukauna, age 74, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025.  He was born on September 15, 1950 to the late Howard and Germaine (Martzahl) McCabe.  After graduating from Kaukauna High School, Turk was hired by Thilmany Paper Company.  Counting the four years he was away serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, he had over 50 years at Thilmany's before retiring as a mill-wright.

Turk is survived by his wife, Linda (Niesen) McCabe; siblings:  Sarah (Kenneth) Van Mun, William McCabe, Kathleen Fleming (special friend Shawn Demerath), Patricia McCabe, and Mary (Todd) Roovers; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Turk enjoyed lighting off fireworks.  He traveled to many pyrotechnics shows throughout the years.  He was especially fond of his cats.  Turk is known for his generosity and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from noon until 3pm at Rose Hill Bar, 2206 E. Main St, Kaukauna.
