Daniel L. Lampert, Freedom, age 82, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born in Oshkosh on June 16, 1934 to the late Phillip Dewey and Alice Gertrude (Halligan) Lampert. Daniel served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at the Big Shoe Store in Oshkosh for 13 years before going to work for the Packer Legends at Left Guard. Daniel also worked at Prime Steer. He loved going to Brewer games and watching the Packers play. Daniel cherished his grandchildren and loved to spend time with his family.

Daniel is survived by his longtime companion, Vera "Miss Keeney" of Freedom; children: Daniel (Melissa) of Seattle and Pam Young of Waupun; Vera's son: Roy (Barb) Keeney; grandchildren: Anita (Bret) Kroska, Lester (Yongwen Gu) Lampert, Jakob Lampert, Jessica Arthur, Rebecca Young, Michael Lampert and Crystal Lampert; brother, Philip (Helen) Lampert; and Vera's siblings: Don (Dot) Ebben, Beauford (Sharon) Olson, Liz (Steve) Spalding, Darlene Guyette and Rosie (Bob) Ohap. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Cloutier; siblings: Florian Lampert, Mary Lampert and Grace (Erwin) Froehlick; and Vera's siblings: Merlin (Anna Mae) Olson and Charlotte Schlack.
