Obituary

Daniel Gordon Huolihan, age 65, of Little Chute, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Dan was born in Appleton on August 2, 1958, the son of Gordon and Janice (DuFrane) Huolihan. He married the love of his life, Sheri Bellin, on April 11, 1981, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, and together, they raised their three children. Dan was the proud owner and operator of his family business United Raynor Overhead Door along side Sheri, Mike, and Paxton. He enjoyed boating and fishing and always looked forward to NASCAR Night at the shop. Most of all he cherished his family and the time spent with them, especially at the cottage in Townsend.

Dan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sheri, his children: Jessica (Luke) Lesselyoung, Mike (Hilarie) Huolihan, Whitney (Kurt) Van Den Heuvel, and his grandchildren: Ava, Chloe, Gwen Lesselyoung, Valden and Arden Huolihan, and Gracie and Micah Van Den Heuvel. Dan is further survived by his mother, Janice; his father-in-law, Louis Bellin; and his siblings Debbie (Steve) VanZeeland, Diane (Randy) Janssen, siblings-in-law: Sandy Smith, Todd (Debbie) Bellin; Cindy (Ben) Biesterveld, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many truly amazing friends.

Dan is preceded in death by his father, Gordon; his mother-in-law, Joan Bellin; and his sister-in-law, Jodi Bellin.

Visitation/Celebration of Life for Dan will be held July 26, 2024, at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. with Father Jim Vanden Hogan officiating. Committal St. John Cemetery.
