Daniel J. Boehnlein left us just two days shy of his 64th birthday on Friday, August 8th, 2025. He was survived by his greatest accomplishments, his children. Christopher (Angie) Boehnlein, Melissa (Josh) Anderson, Amanda (Jordan) Hereford, Kenneth (Kelly) Micke, and Kelsey Micke - as well as the rock of the family, his sister Charlotte (Todd) Immonen, and siblings Sue, Lawrence (Sandy), Gene (Heather) and Andrew Boehnlein. Along with many nieces, nephews, and beautiful grandchildren. And let's not forget his best feline companion, Boots, who he loved beyond measure.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Carol who we suspect greeted him with open arms.

There will be no formal funeral. Instead, we'll honor him the way he'd want with a celebration of life at his favorite watering hole, Bob's Inn in Kaukauna on Friday, September 5th at 4:30pm. Bring your stories, your laughter, and maybe buy a Budweiser in his honor. Dan would call that a perfect send off.
