Cori Lea Johnston, Kewaunee, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the age of 45. She was born on September 13, 1974 in Oconomowoc, the daughter of Tim and Ginger Johnston. Cori was a 1992 graduate of Watertown High School. She had a twin sister, Casi, and the two of them had many adventures together. She was a proud mother that loved camping, spending time outdoors, her music, and spending time with her family. Cori worked at DeGraves Media and Sandblasting and loved her job.

Cori is survived by her sons: Kail (Dana) Mc Cormack of Beaver Dam; and Bryan (Faith) Schauer, Fort Bragg, NC; her parents: Tim Johnston and Ginger (Tom) Cira-Werstein; and twin sister, Casi Johnston. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Cori was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gilbert and Jane Cira and Anita Johnston; and uncles: Dennis Cira and Jerry Johnston.

The family would like to thank the Kewaunee and Tisch Mills Rescue Squad and the Kewaunee County Sherriff. Also, many thanks to their special friends for their love and support.

Dad says that he will miss you. You were always kind and looked out for others. He will love you always.

Casi and Cori loved to make each other laugh, and every great story starts with, "Me and my sister…"

A celebration of life will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
