Cole Matthew Garvey, Appleton, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born in Appleton on April 21, 1987, the son of Michael and Yvonne (Hendricks) Garvey. Cole worked as a machinist at Fox Cities Machining. He loved working on his cars and trucks, especially his 1964 Galaxy. He also loved going to Iola Car Show and Simco every year.

Cole is survived by his parents, Mike and Vonnie of Fremont; siblings: Erica (Bryan) Lambrecht and Michael (Dana) Garvey; nieces and nephews: Britta and Ellis Lambrecht and Damon Garvey; aunts and uncles: Donna (Jerry) Smith, Darlene Hendricks, Vicki (Joel) Schulz, Todd (Cindy) Hendricks, Phyllis (Mike) Randerson, Mary Ellen Patterson, Mark (Barb) Garvey, and Donna Garvey; and his dog, Belle. He is further survived by many cousins and friends.

Cole was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Florence (Wallace) Garvey, Hank and Agnes (Klister) Hendricks, and Jean Hendricks; and aunts and uncles: Jeff Hendricks, Lynn Hendricks, Tom Garvey, Beverly (Art) Manning, John Garvey, Barb Garvey, and Colleen Garvey.

Visitation will be held May 29, 2026, at O’CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. A short prayer service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Deacon Mark Ebben with officiate.
