Cheryl L. Carpenter, Appleton, age 72, passed away  on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, after a long battle with Neuro-Endocrine cancer.  She was born in Appleton on February 7, 1954, the daughter of G.W. "Bill" and Mary Ann (Heule) Swick.  Cheryl married Ralph Carpenter on February 8, 1989, in Negril, Jamaica.  He preceded her in death on August 19, 2019.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Swick; brothers-in-law:  David Carpenter, Gerald (Anita) Carpenter, and Tom (Barbara) Carpenter; niece, Sarah (Clint) Gressler and their sons, Tim and Calvin Gressler; and nephew, Steve (Kaitlin) Swick and their children, Tierra, Hallie, Markus, and Jax Swick, and Layla Schmidt.  She is further survived by additional nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; father, G.W. "Bill" Swick; brother Mark Swick; and fur baby, Shadow.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
