Charlotte J. "Charlie" (Young) Uhazie, Bear Creek, age 62, died Monday, February 8, 2016 at her home. She was born in New London on September 15, 1953 to Floyd and Lila Mae (Thoma) Young. Charlie married Larry Uhazie on July 5, 2001 in Orlando, FL. She worked as a corrections officer at the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution in Plymouth until her retirement. Charlie enjoyed cooking, bowling and fishing on Lake Michigan. She loved sitting around the bonfire with her family at the cottage. Charlie adored her grandkids.

Charlie is survived by her husband, Larry; sons: Gerald (Jennifer) Young of De Pere and Eric (special friend Leetha Brizzee) Young of Bear Creek; grandchildren: Joe and Anna Young; mother, Lila Mae Young; siblings: Christine Oshefsky, Ruth A. Hayes, Vernie Young, Steve (Jane Dorn) Young, Jerry (Terese) Young, Patty (Felix) Young and Kim (John) Steiger; mother-in-law: Joan Demeny; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Karen (Steve) Gagnon, Sheri Uhazie and Jay Demeny. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by her triplet grandbabies, Jarrett, Jake and Joshua; father, Floyd Young; and brother-in-law, Rick Hayes.
A private family service was held. If desired, memorials may be made to the ASPCA or the MACC Fund.
