Charles Knute Valentine, Age 91, Neenah, formerly of Wausau, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI.

Charles was born on May 26th, 1933 in Wausau to Edward Sr. and Alfrieda (Bergstrand) Valentine. He married his wife of 67 years, Annette (Huttenburg) Valentine, on August 7, 1954 in Minnesota. She passed on October 27, 2021.

Charles is survived by two children: Kief (Doreen) Valentine of Appleton, and Sandra Valentine of Wausau. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sisters: Anna Novak and Elaine Marx.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annette; daughter, Donna Schroeder: and siblings: Roseland Andres, Edward Jr., Andrew, and James.

He served in the United States Army with 17 years of active service and later worked as a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst. Chuck was an avid Packers fan.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Heartfelt appreciation goes to the first responders, all the doctors and nurses who provided great care for him in his final moments, and to the staff at Island Shores.
