Carol M. Wydeven, Little Chute, age 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 21, 2021 surrounded by her family at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.  She was born in Kaukauna on May 10, 1939 to the late John and Gladys (Milton) Diedrich and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1957. Carol married Jack Wydeven at Holy Cross Parish on February 7, 1959. While her kids were small, she loved being a stay at home mom. She later owned and ran Jack and Carol's Bar in Little Chute for seven years. She then worked in Van Vreede's Service Department for 18 years. In her retirement Carol enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul in Kaukauna for the past 15 years. She and Jack spent many winters in Florida and she loved reading, going to lunch with her sisters and friends, playing Bingo, and watching the Packers and Cubs play. Carol treasured time spent with her family and adored family gatherings.

Carol is survived by her wonderful and dearly loved family:  her husband of 62 years, Jack; Children:  Mike (Nancy), Jim (Lisa), and Mark Wydeven, all of Kaukauna; Grandchildren:  Amanda Wydeven, Michael (Amy), Kevin, and Elise DeBruin; Great-Grandson, Jaxzyn (Michael & Amy); Goddaughters:  Lyn Waisanen and Sara Bonser; Sisters: Joyce Reiter and Darlene Berghuis; and Sisters and Brother-in-law:  Nancy Diedrich, Ken Wydeven, and Judy (Bill) Asuma.  She is further survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, George and Agnes Wydeven; brother, Jack Diedrich; and brother and sisters-in-law: Stan Berghuis, David, Dorothy Mae and Carol Ann Wydeven.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.  The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate.  Committal St. John Cemetery.
