Carol M. Soffa, Kimberly, age 82, died Monday January 27, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Green Bay on January 7, 1932 to the late Reuben and Marian Maedke. Carol married Job Soffa on October 9, 1950 in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1992. Carol was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She also enjoyed casino trips with her friend Dory and her pets.

Carol is survived by her children: Barb Schwaller, Winneconne; Mike (Deb) Soffa, Kaukauna; Robert Soffa, Oshkosh; Sharon and Jim Pohlman, Appleton; Debra and Joe Van Handel, Kimberly; and John and Kathy Soffa, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Travis Schwaller, Melissa and Jason Dintelman, Aaron Soffa, Jessica and Mark Vandenberg, Wesley and Holly Pohlman, Carlee and Bryan Nudelbacher, Nick and Michelle, Brandon, Logan (Anne) and Summer (Kyle) Van Handel, Brandy Van Roy, Olivia and Gina Hartzheim; great grandchildren: Connor, Gavin, Kaleb, Kyla, Brooke, Carter, Braden, Macy, Lennon, Eli, Britney, Paige, Brody and KC; and twin sisters: Jeannette Mc Monagle and Jeannine and Don Younis. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Thomas Schwaller; and brother-in-law, Allan Mc Monagle.
