Carol J. Quimby, Appleton, age 79, died Friday, November 3, 2023 at Meadowbrook of Appleton.  She was born in Neenah on September 28, 1944 to the late Gilbert and Frances (Malonofsky) Fulcer.  On June 18, 1983, she married Daniel Lee Quimbly.  In her younger years, Carol enjoyed bowling.  She also enjoyed spending time at the Cimarron with friends, gambling (where she always won big), playing bingo, and putting puzzles together.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Karla (Tim) Sheridan; grandchildren:  Travis Reed, Tasha Bixby (Dan Nelson), and Nathan Bixby; great grandchildren:  Astarte Kunz, Ember Bixby, Liam Schulze, Dillon Bixby, Coltin Friestrom, and Owen Friestrom; siblings:  Judy Zuleger, Gary Fulcer, Jerry Fulcer, Greg Fulcer, and Grant Fulcer; sisters-in-law:  Susie Nimmer, Nancy Taplin, and Shirly Murphy; and close friend, Vicki Kilishek.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; siblings:  Gilbert Fulcer, Richard Fulcer, and Darlene Feavel; and in-laws:  Thomas Quimby, Gene Quimby, and Erma Quimby.

Carol's celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Cimarron (W7170 Highway 10 114, Menasha) from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
