Carol Jean Frye passed away on October 15 ^th , 2022 at a Green Bay hospital with her family around her.

Carol was born to James and Eunice LaFortune in Lena, WI on March 5, 1942.  She graduated from Lena High School in 1960 and married her high school sweetheart James Frye on November 12, 1960. The couple lived in Milwaukee where she worked at Briggs and Stratton. The couple moved back to Lena in the late 60s and raised two sons, Jayme and Quinn.  Carol enjoyed singing in the Saint Charles, now Saint Anne's, Church Choir, loved her house (that her husband remodeled), gardening, riding on boats, and spending any time with her sons and grandchildren. She worked at Coleman products for many years…

Family that has already passed away are her parents; brothers, Merle, Arlyn and Vernon LaFortune; sister, Patsy Luebke; and granddaughter, Nichole Frye.

Surviving are her loving, husband James; two sons: Jayme (Lisa) of Oconto and Quinn (Kim) of Howard; grandchildren: Crystal (Tom), Bill (Cassie), and Lauren (Cody); and great grandchildren: Aidden, Samantha, Jayden, and Cameron.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Saint Anne Parish (221 E. Main Street, Lena) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow at Saint Charles Cemetery.
