Obituary

Bradley C. Martin (aka Smiley), Kaukauna, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Grandville, Michigan on October 28, 1959, son of Earl and Alda (Furman) Martin. He was a 4 year Air Force Veteran.  Brad married Renea Kringle on September 14, 1991 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna.

He worked as a claim's adjuster at United Health for 28 years; he had excellent skills at his job and we were all amazed with his medical vocabulary. Brad truly enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was always so excited to spend time at the cabin in Crystal Falls; hours hunting with his best friend Pork, evening drinks and then early morning breakfast was special bonding time with his mom, Alda. He loved golfing with his family and friends, driveway drinks with his neighbors, and fishing with his Kringle family in Canada. Brad was a sports fanatic; he loved the Brewers, the Tigers, the Packers, and recently the Badgers. His favorite and most important role in life was taking care of his Renea, Brooke and Hannah. Brad was so excited for his daughter's coming wedding, and their dance to "You've Got a Friend in Me".

Brad is survived by his wife of 28 years, Renea; daughters, Brooke (fiance Kyle Koch) of Shiocton and Hannah of Kaukauna; mother Alda Martin of Crystal Falls, MI; siblings: Denise "Sis" (Ron Curnow) Martin of Crystal Falls, MI, Chad (Michelle Dominici) Martin of Iron River, MI, and Filip Martin of Phoenix, AZ; mother and father-in-law, Dave and Lynn Kringle of Little Chute; and brothers-in-law: David (Marlene) Kringle of Darboy and Darrell (Sheila) Kringle of Roblin, Manitoba. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He lived life with open heart and full of jokes and laughs, and often referred to those he loved most as a bunch of Big Dummies!! He truly was one of the best!!

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Earl Martin.

The family will host a gathering of family and friends at HOLLANDERS PUB AND GRILL (1820 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 3 pm to 6 pm, Thursday October 3, 2019. Another Celebration of Life will be held in Crystal Falls with family and friends in the near future.

Lending a hand to others was always very important to him.  In his final act of generosity, Brad was an organ and tissue donor, and many will benefit from his final gift.
