Bonnie M. Driessen, Kaukauna, age 65, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Bonnie fought a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Kaukauna on November 25, 1944 to the late Vince and Lucy (Van Domelen) Steffens. Bonnie married Robert F. Driessen at Holy Cross Parish on May 1, 1965. Bonnie retired from Miller Electric after 30 years of service. She was also co-owner of American Auto and Transmission with her husband, Bob. Bonnie enjoyed baking and cooking and graciously shared her talents with lucky family and friends. Bob and Bonnie enjoyed going for rides in their Corvette. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos. Bonnie cherished time spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert; sons, Todd (Nicole) of Kaukauna and Craig (Deb) of Little Chute; grandchildren: Dylan, Chase and Saylor; brothers and sisters: Lee Steffens, Marlene (Jim) Kilsdonk, Sharon Huss, Gary (Berne) Steffens, Linda Waters and Marc (Lee Ann) Steffens. Bonnie is also survived by her mother-in-law, Marian Driessen; brother and sister-in-law, Rick (Betty) Driessen and Karen Geyso; and Bonnie's life-long friend, Irene (Tootie) Gerrits. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert E. Driessen; and brothers-in-law: Bill Geyso and Daryl Driessen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (201 E. Main St. Little Chute). Deacon Bud Klister will officiate.

Bonnie's family would like to thank St. Paul Hospice for their support. We further thank Bonnie's niece, Karen Kilsdonk, her dear friend Tootie Gerrits, and her goddaughter Lisa Van Schyndel for the loving care given to Bonnie and her family during this difficult time.
