Obituary

Bonita J. LeNoble, Little Chute, age 72, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Rennes Health Center. She was born in Freedom on September 29, 1938 to the late Herman and Lillian (Carney) Kortz. Bonnie married Francis "Chesty" LeNoble on May 10, 1962. He preceded her in death June 1, 1993. Bonnie married Jerome "Jerry" Thomson on December 5, 1999. Being a person of strong faith, she was an active member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, where she was a Befriender, Eucharistic minister and volunteered in the church office and St. John Food Pantry. Bonnie also volunteered at Appleton Medical Center and with the Elizabeth Ministry in Kaukauna. She worked as an administrative assistant at Fox Valley Technical College, retiring in 2003. She continued to be involved in numerous committees there, including Adopt-a-Family, Quarter Century Club and Natural Resources Club. On April 22, 1992 Bonnie received a second chance of life by receiving a heart transplant. Bonnie was a Packer season ticket holder and loved to golf and fish. Bonnie's pride and joy were her seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren all referred to as her "Turkey's". Bonnie spent countless hours with her grandchildren which included, sleep overs, sporting events and school activities. Bonnie's grandchildren will never forget the love for life that she shared with them as well as her strong faith in the Lord.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Jerry; children: Mike LeNoble, Little Chute; Todd (Robin) LeNoble, Little Chute; and Jean (Steve) Lenz, Shiocton; grandchildren: Trask, Riker, Matt, Marty and Morgan LeNoble, Robin (Aaron) Zillmer and Jennifer Lenz; great grandchildren Erika and Jamyson; Jerry's children: Tom (Sanda) Thomson, Georgia; Mark (Ellen) Thomson, Appleton; Karen Meiers, Stoughton; Colleen Blanding, Florida; and Diane Thomson, New Jersey; Jerry's grandchildren: Kevin (Cathy), Ken, Kristy and Matthew Thomson, Kelly (Jim) Snyder, Karri (Rob) Fulcer, Lindsay and Curtis Blanding, Jared Loadholt, Emily Sandel and Nina Meiers; Jerry's great grandchildren: Mason, Addison, Tyler, Caydence, Brody and Hailey; siblings: Leroy, Glenn and Gary (Lois) Kortz, Mary (Dick) Heindl and Barb (Tom) Braun; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Darla and Charmaine LeNoble, Carl (Mary Pat) and Roy (Darlene "Smick") Thomson, Cliff Fischer, Victor Petersen and Jim Boyle. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Francis, Bonnie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Greg (Rosie) Thomson, Avita (Bill) Kramer, Patricia Fischer, Louise Petersen and Mary Ellen Boyle.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 31, 2011 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Willard Vande Loo officiating. Visitation will continue at the church Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
