Beverly A. Schmidt, age 95, died Monday, May 11, 2026, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Appleton. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on July 3, 1930, to the late Gus and Sadie (nee Johnson) Gueths. She married Lowell M. Schmidt at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac on June 22, 1957. Beverly was a radiologic tech working in Omaha and Milwaukee and finished her career at the former Kaukauna Community Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, and reading cozy mysteries. Beverly loved her family and cherished the time they spent together.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Barb Schmidt, Little Chute; and granddaughter, Jessica Maigatter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lowell; and her daughter, Linda Maigatter.

Beverly’s family will gather at O’Connell Funeral Home for a private funeral followed by committal at Highland Memorial Park. The Rev. Lynn Martin will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Autism Society of America. 

The family would like to thank the staff on the 400-wing of Rennes and hospice staff of Compassus for the excellent care Beverly received.
