Betty went HOME peacefully to be with her Savior on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  August marked two special milestones for Betty, her 90th birthday and an awesome 68 years of marriage to Donald G. Weyenberg, whom she married on August 8, 1953.

She was born to Orville and Helen (Lippold) Hansen on August 2, 1931. Betty was Baptized and Confirmed in her faith at Bethlehem Lutheran, Hortonville.

Betty was the social butterfly everyone was drawn to. She spent hours playing and teaching Pegs and Jokers and enjoyed Cribbage and Sheepshead. Baking and cooking was also her passion. She loved having family and friends over for meals and games. Betty and Don traveled to Australia, China, spent many winters in Texas and Florida, enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota and many more adventures.

Betty and Donald were blessed with five children: Vicki Houser, Donna Lindell, Judy Schiedermayer, Bruce (Tammy) Weyenberg and Marie (Lee) Stumpf; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Lois Nollenberg; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Martin and Nellie Weyenberg; sister, Lois Teschke; three sons-in-law: Harland Houser, Gary Lindell, and Scott Schiedermayer; and one grandchild, Tyler Lee Stumpf and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held September 11, 2021 at MT. CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH (N8728 S. Coop Road, Menasha) from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m.  A luncheon for everyone will follow.  A private committal will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
