Betty Jean Forster, Hortonville, age 95, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Care Partners. She was born in Readfield, WI on December 9, 1927 to the late Leonard and Glover (Siewert) Pribbernow. Betty worked at the Outagamie County Hospital as an Occupational Therapist. Later in life, she worked at Hillshire Farms. Betty loved polka dancing, watching reruns of the Lawrence Welk Show, and listening to big band music. She also enjoyed playing cards. Betty treasured her family and loved spending time with them.
Betty is survived by her children: William (Sue) Forster, Black Creek; James (Karen) Forster, Appleton; Michael Forster, Boise ID; Thomas Forster, Black Creek; John (Huntzie) Forster, Appleton; and Mary (Steve) Ziegler, Hortonville; daughter-in-law, Cherie Forster; grandchildren: BJ (Laura) Forster, Jeff Forster, Andy (Lisa) Forster, Samantha (Kurt) Mantly, Carly Forster (friend Joe Everhart), and Caitlin Forster; great grandchildren: Morgan, Liam, Ava, Taden, Forest, and Jonah; niece, Beth Ann Pribbernow; and nephew, Steve (Mary) Pribbernow. She is further survived by other relatives and numerous friends. She was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Gerald "Jerry" Forster; the father of her children, William Forster; siblings: Kent Pribbernow and LeVerne Siewert; sister-in-law, Delores "Dolly" Pribbernow; and nephew, Scott Pribbernow.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral will be held. Memorials in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
