Bernie, of Menasha, age 64, passed away unexpectedly in Green Bay after a battle with lung cancer on Monday, September 26th, 2022. He was born in Neenah on October 5, 1957 to Romaine Rabitoy and Bernard Bourasaw, Sr.  Bernie worked at Intertape Polymer group for 40 years which he retired from in 2020. Bernie enjoyed many things. He loved fishing, campfires, family cookouts and trips to the casino. Bernie loved his family very much and put everyone else in his family first. He was always cracking jokes and making people laugh.

Bernie is survived by his best friend and wife, Tina. He had three children: Troy (Sara), Angela and Richard; two step children: Brandon and Courtney Brighum; five grandchildren: Sarina, Trevor, Kevin, Elijah and Levi; brother, Peter Bourasaw; and sisters, Helen Douglas and Lori Maehl. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Romaine and Bernard Bourasaw, Sr.; and brother, Steven.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street, Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the Sharing of Memories at 6:00 p.m.
