Audrey Elizabeth Deprez, Appleton, age 92, passed away on April 15, 2018. The daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Bougie) McCabe, was born March 5, 1926, in West DePere. She married Harold Deprez on June 12, 1948, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Appleton. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two daughters and a son. They are Lucette (Edwin) Rice, Jeffrey (Susan) Deprez, and Nicole (Patrick) Garrity. There are four grandchildren: Christopher (Jen) Pushart, Andrew (Nancy) Pushart, Eric Pushart, and Caitlyn Garrity; and five great grandchildren: Kira, Connor, Maria, Jeffrey, and Jacob. She is also survived by one brother Vincent McCabe and two sisters: Beulah Gurnee and Maureen (Vernon) Weyers; brother in-law, Ivo Geurts, and many nieces and nephews. Audrey, is further survived by dear friends, Ellen and Joe Weber and their family.
Audrey was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of 68 years, and her parents, Peter and Emma McCabe. She was also preceded in death by her sisters and in-laws: Florian and John Chambers, Mary Geurts, Clarence Gurnee, Patricia and Edward O'Keefe, Patricia McCabe, Eileen McCabe, and David McCabe; as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law: Irene (Karl) Knight, Elmer (Rita) Deprez, and Clifford Deprez.
Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church (312 S. State St. Appleton) for visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 with a funeral mass to follow. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are being established for the Affinity Visiting Nurses and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
