Arsella I. Strick, Little Chute, age 95, died at Country Villa Assisted Living on Monday, May 2, 2022.  She was born in Kaukauna on November 30, 1926, to the late Loyal and Elsie (Brown) Schmalz.  Arsella married Paul Strick at Holy Cross Parish in Kaukauna on April 10, 1947.   They shared 70 years together before he preceded her in death on December 25, 2017.

Arsella's devotion as a wife, mother and grandmother was evident in the time spent encouraging generations of family members as they pursued their passions.  In her retirement years, Arsella and Paul enjoyed many summers in Las Vegas hosting family visits and winning at Bingo.  Arsella was ever present providing her family guidance up until her death.

Arsella is survived by her children:  Bruce Strick, Little Chute; Linda (Steve) Blom, Little Chute; Dave (Barb) Strick, De Pere; and Karen (Dan) Keyzers, Little Chute; grandchildren:  Jessica (Cole) Thompson, Kevin and Dylan Blom, Jade (Andrew) Stewart, Taylor and Jordan Strick, Tanner, Max, and Tess Keyzers; and great grandchildren:  Jase, Finn, and Gus Thompson and Elaina Fuller.

In addition to her parents and husband, Paul, Arsella was preceded in death by her children:  Barbara, Robin, and Steve Strick; father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Blanche Strick; siblings:  Ted Schmalz and Sandy (Schmalz) Hambek; and Paul's siblings:  Loretta (Paul) Kinder, Marie (Roger) Thiel, William (Doris) Strick, Earl "Nip" (Lois) Strick, and Robert Strick.
