Anna M. Dercks, Little Chute, age 97, died Saturday February 23, 2013 at Parkside Care Center. She was born in Little Chute on June 12, 1915 to the late Henry and Bertha Winius. Anna married Clem W. Van Zeeland. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1946. She married Paul Dercks. He also preceded her in death. Anna was the owner of Van Zeeland's Chrysler/Plymouth garage. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where she was a very dedicated member of the St. John Mission Club for over 40 years. Anna also belonged to the Jacob Coppus American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and the occasional Old Fashion.
Anna is survived by her children: Clem H. (Lori) Van Zeeland, Appleton; and Gary Dercks, Little Chute; son-in-law: Jerry Cummings; grandchildren: Clem P. (Joan) and Kurt H. (Kathy) Van Zeeland, Syvan (Ralph) Mongin, Cindy (Bob) Schafer, Lonnie Longsine and Al Cummings; sisters: Martha Haupt, Harriet Masch and Alice "Honey" Hermus; brothers: Joe (Terry), Les (Pat) and Hank (Clare) Winius; and sister-in-law: Isabel "Isie" Winius. She is further survived by 7 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husbands Clem W. Van Zeeland and Paul Dercks; daughter Joan Cummings; brothers: William (Pearle), Al, Ray (Elaine) and Harold Winius; sisters: Agnes (Len) Sporakowski and Alma (Gil) Dorschner; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe Haupt, Anna Mae Winius, Bob Masch and John Hermus.
Visitation will be held Friday March 1, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate.
