Anita L. Taugner, Appleton, age 80, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born in Milwaukee on January 15, 1937 to the late James H. and Molly (Kehler) Bowes. Anita married Bruce S. Taugner on November 15, 1961 at Fox Point Lutheran Church in Fox Point, WI. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Appleton. Anita wore many hats in the family business, Clarkson Map Co. and Badger Graphic Sales, including sales and managing the office. She was also a member of Altusia International in Appleton. Anita loved traveling with her husband. A quiet beach in Biloxi or Virgin Gorda was perfect. Mountain cable cars in Switzerland or shopping downtown Caracas fit her travel bill. Made no difference, "Let's Go!"

Anita is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Bruce; children: Jeff J. (Cindy) Taugner and Jennifer J. (Dave) Weast, both of Darboy; and grandchildren: Logan, Parker and Ethan Taugner and Christian Weast. She is further survived by close family friends, Sharon W. and Bob and Nancy K. and their families.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by Bruce's parents and sister.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK (3131 N. Richmond St. Appleton) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow.
