Angela M. Vander Loop, Kaukauna, age 85, died Monday, October 13, 2025 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.  She was born in Appleton on February 18, 1940, to the late Leo and Gertrude (Tennessen) Hennes.  Angela married John "Jack" Vander Loop on June 30, 1958.

Angela was an avid trapshooter and ranked 7th in the world and 1st in the state.  She enjoyed traveling with Jack, visiting the casinos, reading, doing puzzles, playing cards with her friends, and watching Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Angela is survived by her children:  William Vander Loop, Conover; Carol Hoopingarner, Oshkosh; David (Kelly) Vander Loop, Florida; and Connie (Fredrick) Kuhnke, Crandon; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings:  Alicia Vandyn Hoven, Jerry Hennes, and Paul (Carol) Hennes; brothers-in-law:  Joe, Dick, Mike, Tim, Tom, and Jim Vander Loop; and sisters-in-law:  Ann Swaningson, Betty Natrop, Judy Shley, and Peggy Popp.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Vander Loop; his parents, Henry and Dorothy Vander Loop; son-in-law, Dale Hoopingarner; granddaughter, Trisha Krake; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kaukauna Community Center (207 Reaume Ave., Kaukauna) on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
