Obituary

Amiee…what can we say? She was here and gone in a blink of an eye. She gained her angel wings on May 7, 2021 after only 44 years with us. That sassy colon cancer (her words) took her from us way to soon. We her family and the scores of friends she had are heartbroken. But as she said – you can be sad for a little while, but don't be sad forever.
Amiee enjoyed many different jobs in her lifetime. Here are a few – Pick & Save, Appleton Airport, Alta Resources, medical CNA, Timber Rattlers Stadium, JoAnn Fabrics. She also did A LOT of baby and pet sitting over the years! Her most recent job was at Plexus Corp. With each of these jobs along her path she made lifelong friends & connections.
Another important aspect of her life was sports. Baseball/softball were a lifelong passion for her. She started young playing ball with Roger Jr. and sister Cheri. She was a bat girl for Cheri's Suburban softball team until she was old enough to be on her own team. In high school she was on the 1995 Neenah High School softball team which took state that year! Amiee was all-conference designated hitter. She kept playing ball into adulthood, on women's leagues and co-ed teams. When she wasn't playing herself, she was watching others play sports of all kinds. Not to mention 4H pig competitions, dance recitals, motocross and the list goes on!
She had a love for Packers, Brewers, Cubs, Luke Bryant, NKOB and Boogie and the YoYo's! But her favorite place to visit was JAMACIA! She enjoyed the people, loved the pool and fruity drinks!
Born in Neenah, WI Amiee was the 5th child of Roger and Carol (Cavosi) Charlier. She leaves behind her siblings Susette Charlier, Renee (Tom) McMillan, Cheri (Brian) Nushart and Roger Charlier Jr. Also her nieces and nephews – Logan Charlier, Amy (Louie, Audriana, Max and Luca) Morales, Brian McMillan, Nickolas (Whitney Arndt) McMillan, Tyler, Joey and Makenna Nushart.
Waiting to welcome Amiee to heaven were our parents, grandparents and many other family members plus two special friends – Brian Tesch & Jill Parsons. So we are sure the festivities have begun!
The Celebration of Amiee will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church 900 Geiger Street, Neenah. Visitation 10:30 – 1 pm with service following at 1. Following the church service, we will have her send off at The Reserve 116 S. Commercial Street Neenah from 2-7pm. Let's celebrate a life well lived!
We would like to thank her doctor, Jamie Schmidt. Also Dr. Yao and his wonderful team at the Cancer Center.
Our family sincerely thanks all of our relatives and Amiee's countless friends for all of their never-ending support! It has been a blessing to have all of the kind words, gestures, prayers, financial support and gifts to help Amiee on her journey. We appreciate all of you and this kindness has left a lasting impression on our family!
A memorial is being set up in Amiee's memory. The memorial will be a softball scholarship. Donations can be made out to Oshkosh Area Community Foundation with Amiee Charlier in the memo and mailed to the family.
