Obituary

Allen G. Yokers, age 72, Kaukauna, passed from this world and began his new eternal life with the Lord on Monday, November 23, 2015. Allen was born on Dec 5, 1942 in Amherst, Wisconsin, the son of the late Gerald and Edith (Fleming) Yokers. He graduated from Amherst High School and went on to Central State University in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. On May 18, 1996, Allen married his "bride", Susan in Kaukauna.
Allen began his working career with Western Electric (Ma Bell) and then moved to Thilmany (International Paper) in Customer Service and Sales & Marketing roles before joining his wife in their software consulting business, One 2 One, LLC. This led him to his true career calling as a Director Consultant with Business Networking International (BNI) where he could share his passion for helping others following a "givers gain" attitude. He additionally served his community as a participant of the City Planning Commission and Board of Appeals as well as teaching Hunter's Safety courses. Allen loved the outdoors and spent much of his leisure time camping, hunting, and enjoying God's gifts of nature at his cabin with family and friends. He will always be remembered as a man of great compassion and provided leadership and examples of loving kindness to everyone he met.
Allen is survived by his "bride", Susan Yokers, and the family he loved so much; Bill (Karolyn) Maloney (Kaukauna) and grandchildren, Keely, Keegen, & Kesler Maloney; Bob (Mary) Maloney (St. Francis) and granddaughter, Violet Maloney; son in law, James Murray (Milwaukee); his sisters, Janice (Laurence) Grigg (Mequon), and Terri Schneble and his nephews, Will & Chris Schneble (Indiana); brothers and sisters in-law, Scott (Jackie) Van Dalen, Bob (Jen) Van Dalen and Robin (Craig) Laehn. He will also be missed greatly by his dear cousins and many, many clients, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Edith Yokers; and his daughter, Marguerite Murray.
Visitation will be held at Appleton Alliance Church (2693 Grand Chute Drive, Appleton) on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 9:00 am to the time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Rev. Brian Dainsberg will be officiating.
A special thank you to Fox Valley Oncology and Hematology and the many angel nurses at Appleton Medical Center who tenderly cared for Allen. Huge thanks also go out to the many friends and family members who supported us along this journey.

Allen – you always showed us how to love others the way God loves us. We rejoice that you are now with the Lord you love so much. You will remain with us forever and I will always be your "bride".
