Alice Mae Vandenboom, age 81, of Hortonville, died in Appleton on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born in Darboy to the late Joseph and Clara (Vande Loo) Dietzen on August 9, 1940. Alice married William "Bill" Vandenboom on June 6, 1964, at Sacred Heart Church in Appleton. Alice enjoyed cooking and baking, working in the yard, feeding the birds, and she loved her cats.

Alice is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill; her son Wade (Wendy), Shiocton, grandchildren Blake and Hayley; her son Mark (Becky), Appleton, grandchildren Lindsey (Dan) Kleitsch, great grandson Sawyer; Allison (fiancé Brenden Mueller). She is further survived by her siblings Howard "Jack" Dietzen and Helen "Speed" Wisneski.

In addition to her parents, Alice preceded in death by her sisters: Rita (Ed) Scharenbrock and Leona (Earl) Kettner.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at ST. MARY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH (N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with the Father Michael Warden officiating. Committal at Highland Memorial Park following Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
